Summer BBQ at the Lake (in place of our General Meeting)

Instead of our usual August Zoom meeting, we’re switching things up and heading outdoors! Join us for a fun, relaxed BBQ on Wednesday, August 19th from 5:30–8pm at Lake Wilderness Park in Maple Valley.

We’ll be hanging out at Picnic Shelter #1, right at the Lake Wilderness beach and lifeguard house. The beach and a big grassy field are perfect for kids, swimming, and a little frisbee fun. So bring your swimsuits, lawn games, portable chairs or picnic blanket, and the whole family!

Dinner will be served around 6pm and will include: hot dogs (both veggie and meat), chips, watermelon, and bottled water. Feel free to bring a dessert to share and any additional food or drinks you’d like (just a heads-up: no alcohol allowed).

While there won’t be any formal business, we’ll take a moment for a few quick introductions and announcements. Whether you’re new to our group or a long-time member, we’d love to see you in person and enjoy a summer evening together.
