Black Diamond Labor Days and Parade
We’ll be in Black Diamond for their Labor Day festival on Sunday, Sept. 6th and Monday, Sept. 7th and we hope you can join us!
Booth Information – We’re seeking volunteers to help staff our booth both days for two-hour shifts from 10:00am-4:00pm.
Parade Information – The parade is on Monday, Sept. 7th at 10am. Please arrive by 9:30 to line up on 2nd Ave., behind the BD Fire Station on Baker Avenue, across Baker St. from BDE. This parade is short – only about 1/4 mile and ends at the playfield where the booths are located. Wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather. Shirts sharing democratic values and/or support for an endorsed candidate is encouraged.
The 5th Dems Events Team will provide yard signs, stickers, Wheel of Fortune trivia game, comfy camp chairs under our booth canopy. Beverages and food options are steps away at the festival. Our booth will be on the Black Diamond playfield behind Black Diamond Elementary (BDE).
