SUMMARY:Summer BBQ at the Lake (in place of our General Meeting)
DESCRIPTION:Instead of our usual August Zoom meeting\, we’re switching things up and heading outdoors! Join us for a fun\, relaxed BBQ on Wednesday\, August 19th from 5:30–8pm at Lake Wilderness Park in Maple Valley. \nWe’ll be hanging out at Picnic Shelter #1\, right at the Lake Wilderness beach and lifeguard house. The beach and a big grassy field are perfect for kids\, swimming\, and a little frisbee fun. So bring your swimsuits\, lawn games\, portable chairs or picnic blanket\, and the whole family! \nDinner will be served around 6pm and will include: hot dogs (both veggie and meat)\, chips\, watermelon\, and bottled water. Feel free to bring a dessert to share and any additional food or drinks you’d like (just a heads-up: no alcohol allowed). \nWhile there won’t be any formal business\, we’ll take a moment for a few quick introductions and announcements. Whether you’re new to our group or a long-time member\, we’d love to see you in person and enjoy a summer evening together. \nNo RSVP needed. \nThis event is free—just come and have a great time!
