DESCRIPTION:North Bend is celebrating its 76th annual summer celebration — The Festival at Mt. Si! The festivities kick off with a Grand Parade on Saturday at 10:30am through the heart of North Bend.  \nWe’re seeking volunteers to walk with us in the parade\, join us for a couple hours as a “Booth Buddy\,” or both! You’ll be able to chat with folks and pet their dogs. Talk with voters and invite kids\, teens\, and adults to spin our Wheel of Fortune game to test their political knowledge. The game was a big hit at our earlier events this summer! \nLet us know if you can join us! We’re also excited for our friends in the 12th legislative district to show up for some of the volunteer slots\, after North Bend and Snoqualmie were separated into different districts. \nLocation\, parking info\, etc.

SUMMARY:Snoqualmie Days
DESCRIPTION:Connecting with voters and residents around King County matters a lot\, and small-town festivals such as Snoqualmie Days are plenty of fun. Volunteer firefighters first organized this celebration of the Snoqualmie Valley in 1939\, upon the arrival of the town’s first fire truck.  \nThis event comprises Saturday and Sunday\, but booths are open only on Saturday (the same day as the parade).\n• We’re looking for a good-sized crew to walk with us in the parade from 9:30am – noon (or whenever the parade ends).\nWe’ll check in at Riverview Park. The parade will start at the intersection of SE Newton Street and Railroad Avenue (Hwy 202)\, proceed down Railroad Avenue\, and finish at King Street. \n• We’re also looking for four “Booth Buddies” at every timeslot (two hours or less!) between 7:30am and 6:30pm on Saturday.\nChat with folks. Pet their dogs. Talk with voters. Invite kids\, teens\, and adults to spin our Wheel of Fortune\, answer our question correctly\, and win a prize – very popular with festivalgoers this summer! Booths are on “Vendor Row” in the heart of downtown Snoqualmie\, near the Northwest Railway Museum. (See address/map below.) \nSign up here! With your help\, we’ll bring Dems energy and pride with a great turnout!
