SUMMARY:FESTIVAL: 5th LD Dems at Carnation 4th of July Celebration
DESCRIPTION:Join fellow 5th LD Democrats to celebrate our nation’s birthday at the Carnation 4th of July Celebration! We will be at our booth from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM\, and we will be marching in the parade at 11AM! \nWe had a great showing in the parade last year to help elect Bill Ramos and Lisa Callan as our 5th LD State Representatives\, then…we did it!! Let’s have a great turn out again to continue to show the infectious spirit of the 5th LD Dems! Bring your signs\, banners or displays and wear your best blue or red\, white and blue and meet us at 10:30 AM across from the Carnation Library! We will let you know the 5th LD parade waiting spot as soon as we get it. RSVP to the Facebook event (https://www.facebook.com/events/2515108811846923/) to let us know you’ll be there. \nPlan to arrive around 10:00 AM because roads are closed and parking can be challenging. Disabled parking is available at the Carnation Library and Carnation Elementary. Those who need to limit walking can wait at the Stone Church and fall in with us as we approach the beginning of the parade route. \nWe also need help staffing our booth — join us for a 2-hour shift (or longer!) anytime between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM to greet folks and spread the great news about the momentum of the awesome 5th LD Democrats! \nText/Call Barb Olsen at 218-349-6681 if you have any trouble finding the parade group or booth.
